We did a bookmark project for the second week of March, which
is reading month. We all made bookmarks which are due Wednesday March 12th,
2014. People have 2 days to work on it. So, we started on Monday March 10th,
2014.
We had a contest for who had the best bookmark. Whoever
won got to give a free copy to everyone in the class. On Tuesday, March 11,
2014, 9 out of 24 bookmarks were back at school in room 205. The fraction for
that is 9/24.
One person did a mental image, probably of a book that
he/she read. Another person did “Read ‘til you fall asleep.” Others did “Step
into somebody else’s shoes when you read a book.” Or “Spring into a book.” It
was awesome!
