Math Pentathalon

By Madden and Masah

In class we have been learning Math Pentathalon games. There are five games to play.  So far we learned how to play FIAR and Kwatro Sinko.

FIAR stands for four in a row.  This is how you play. You have a board and you place your chips down trying to get four in a row.  Once all your chips are placed down on the board, you can slide them around to get to four in a row without your opponent stopping you.

This is how you play Kwarto Sinko.  The pieces are numbered 0 - 9.  They are on red chips or blue chips.  Your goal is to add two chips together and subtract the other chip to make a sum of 4 or 5.  It is a lot harder than it sounds, but it is also fun!
